on the wealthy:

Obama budget seeks new spending, new taxes to boost economy, tame debt

Yes, this should really boost the economy! It's worked so well in the past, why wouldn't we double down.

Dead on arrival. Nothing more than a hat tip to liberals, who he needs to show up at the ballot box in November to save his Presidency. A GOP Senate majority means that Barack Obama is on a 2 year vacation at the Pile of Irrelevancy Resort.™ He knows that, and his budget reflects it.

This President is a political operator extraordinaire.......nothing ....and I mean nothing....is done out of principal or deeply held beliefs.

Raise taxes on Democrats only. I'd support that.

Of course not, GB--it is tax increases on Republicans, more welfare benefits for Democrats.

(Not all small business owners are Republicans, nor are all welfare recipients Democrats....but that's the way to bet.)

Tax those with money to pay for an expanded EIC group of people.
Take from those that have and give to those that don't have.

yada yada. OMG taxes! Tax ONLY the democrats! What foolishness. And you also scream when its mentioned to cut a program you like, or cut military expenditures, etc etc.

Make up your mind-which is most important?
We cannot all at the same time continue our current spending, reduce taxes, and reduce our debt.

Spending-you ALL have favorites. everything except the poor. But you ignore what a small % that spending on poor folks is. But thats your focus. Sigh. Really? Too bad reality and economics getting the way of your fantasy of cutting food stamps, wic, and welfare and the world will be great.

Reduce taxes-This one you're ALL for.....too bad doing so increases debt....

And OMG the debt! yup its time to start paying it down, and since the president cant force congress to stop spending, and since most of the money is spent reasonably that leaves....

Raising taxes at a time with historically low tax rates. Shocker.

As the Republicans sit back and watch the economy crash while more of them lose their seats ... Remember they actually said they would do whatever to make sure his Presidency is a failure, the economy be damned.

There is almost NO chance a Republican is elected President in 2016 unless they manage to get someone not yet in the picture to run.

I have a few Republicans in mind I would vote for but it is THEIR job to figure out who is on that list.
