Neither the headline nor the article say who has sent the threats. It would seem most likely to be coming from people who don't want her to testify.
Politico says she asked not to be recalled today due to receiving the threats:

Moving the goal posts? In case you missed it the fact that such a high percentage of conservative groups were targeted is the reason for this issue.
It is true that a high percentage of conservative groups were targeted. If you read the original statute all should have been denied. But that does not read on whether or not progressive groups were targeted as well. Again the IRS should have denied all.
Did it come down harder on right than left? That is actually not in evidence. More right then left organizations were hung up in the system...but there are no statistics on what we started with. At that point in time I would opine that there were far more right than left organization being started.
We have here a set of political organizations disguising themselves as social welfare organizations. Simply should be denied.
Issa obviously does not want the testimony of Lerner. If he did immunity would fix the problem. And there would appear little down side risk to it...unless he thinks Lerner is a mass murderer who will confess under the immunity.
