Life is unfair because others have more than them...what a simplistic way to view the world.

briarwood, I'd love to see the data or facts as you call them on some of these items you've listed. More than one terrifies me.

I'd be interested in understanding how "those with more than us have power and keep us from getting ahead."

How do you see this. Do you feel opressed?

How exactly are they keeping you from getting ahead? I take it you don't feel in control of your own life?

How are they (children of privilege) living the "good life" at your expense?

Now THAT is funny! I'll bet that when you stub your toe you curse Bush for oppressing the masses, right? Maybe you should try taking a little personal responsibility for your own choices in life and stop trying to blame everyone else. You might actually get somewhere.

Ah nothing 12 life is so unfair. I came from a poor dairy farm, poor family. I didn't go to college and yet I do live a good life. No one stopped me from success. That is except for me. I like many made poor decisions, learned from the mistakes and adjusted. Today I have a good job, Nice house, 2 nice vehicles and oh yeah a great retirement building up. So if those in power hold everyone else down how did I and 3 out 4 siblings find the American dream? Surely we are not unique? Well I'll be honest my spelling is the worst of the bunch.

I think everybody who is interested has chimed in on if it pays to work at the 50% tax bracket. Please keep comments on subject, instead of critiquing each other.
