Cerberus was the three-headed hellhound of Greek mythology and stands poised to take over the Safeway grocery chain.

Cerberus Capital to buy Safeway for about $9.4 billion | Reuters

I have a lot of friends who work for Safeway. They now take every step with trepidation. They know that their jobs are at risk, but this the new reality. This is what is,6 years into the Obama presidency.

What new reality. Companies buying other companies is nothing new. Nothing to do with Obama

Obama is the US president. His economic policies have been in place for 6 years now? You missed that?

Yeah....they bought it to turn around and sell it to Albertsons. This is business as usual for private equity firms I don't understand how this is related to Obama's policies. The same thing has happened for longer than any of us have been alive and will continue to happen long after we're all dead.

No I don't. Why do you feel it's so significant. Besides, it's Safeway decision.

What does this have to do with Obama? Which specific policy or set of policies caused Albertson's to buy Safeway?

Do you have anything to point to? Or is this just the usual "I don't like X, therefore X is Obama's fault" thing?

I don't like it either, mostly because Albertson's is ridiculously overpriced and sucks, but I fail to see how it's Obama's fault.
