Jesus hung out with prostitutes, what makes you better than Jesus?
Jesus did not hate anyone...all he told the prostitutes was "don't do that anymore...it is not good for you or anyone else".....He would probably say the same to gay folks that we have overly sexualized.....Love each other but keep the use and abuse of each other's bodies to a minimum...Using others to satisfy our hedonism is probably not about love.
Actually one of the main reasons AZ got that bill vetoed was b/c of the HUGE affect it would have had on business as a whole. The estimates were millions and millions, and that's not including the fact that the NFL was looking like it was immediately going to pull out on hosting the Super Bowl there.
If a Christian doesn't want to work and do something to provide work for something they disbelieve in, they have the complete free will to quit their job and refuse to do it. A Business serving to the general public though, has to serve any and all customers protected under the Civil Rights Acts equally. Otherwise we do away with the entire point of the Civil Rights movement.
Baloney! Brewer vetoed it because she was a coward. Period. But yeah... she saw the $$$ from the Super Bowl. It's highly likely that had she signed the bill, noting would have changed (but homosexuals everywhere would have tried to pressure the NFL to refuse to consider AZ — that is the kind of tyranny this group subjects all America too).

Actually, no. There are very clear laws on discrimination in public-serving businesses, so a business owner does NOT have the right to choose who to serve. The only rules you can set are in relation to behavior, attire, safety, etc... but all rules must be applied equally, regardless of the person's demographic. These laws differ slightly from state to state, but I don't think we've been allowed to say "No blacks/women/disabled/whatever" since like 1950-something. Why do we have to keep explaining this concept? Talk about beating a dead horse!!
So, screw the First Amendment ... right? Screw religious liberty.
I wonder how that will work when it's a Muslim business that comes under attack? It seems the only religion that is regularly under attack by leftists, and our government, is Christianity. Nobody dares challenge Islam.

Yes, if that religious liberty tries to remove the rights of others, then yes, screw that. Its Anti-Discrimination laws. Its very plain, very simple. The same thing would happen to Muslim businesses if they attempted to refuse service to a protected class under any of the Civil Rights Acts. The same thing would happen to ANY BUSINESS. That's what the law states.
