As income tax returns are coming due, I am sure this question has entered your mind. Do you think you pay too much taxes to the Federal Government?

Anything paid in support of an enemy bent on destroying you is too much.

As long as federal workers get yearly pay raises, illegal aliens get in-state tuition, billions in foreign aid are given to hostile countries (like Saudi Arabia), and as long as the baby killers at Planned Parenthood get funding, I will think my taxes are too high and unnecessary.

With all the outright waste and handing out grants to study ketchup flow absolutely we're paying to much to the feds (state too). And I don't care that people in Europe pay more than we do, just because they're over taxed doesn't mean we're not taxed enough.

And that really underscores the misunderstanding/corruption of the matter... the insistence that taxes have to show an immediate and continual ROI to each taxpayer. The antisocial abandonment the understanding that one is a member of a society will always lead to a conclusion that one is paying too much in taxes.

We are having our condo meeting tonight. I'm sure someone will get up and complain about the condo fee, on the basis that perhaps more of it this past year went to fix someone else's roof, or to remedy a problem with the roadway down on the other side of the development. Same story.

Part of the problem is the way that Americans for the most part have insulated themselves to the point of having no idea how things are in other developed countries. We`re getting off cheap.
