Good for him. It's time we start putting stupid people in their proper place.

You're wrong, but you did a great job trying to think it through.

To help improve your understanding, the key to the ADA is "reasonable."

There's a recent thread on service dogs, the ADA and restaurants, I'll explain how that works.

Blind person with guide dog and a person with severe allergies in restaurant, who wins under the ADA? The blind person.....because the severe allergies do not qualify as a disability under the ADA.

Take it a step further....blind person with a guide dog and a person with severe asthma which is recognized under the ADA as a disability and allergies to dogs trigger the asthma, who wins under the ADA?

The blind person.

Why? Because the person with asthma can use their inhaler, and that is reasonable.

That's not conjecture on my part, rather it is ADA case law.

Service dog and a person with ADA asthma in a restaurant....who wins? If the purpose of the service god is to fetch or retrieve, then the service dog must be removed from the restaurant.

However, if the purpose of the service dog is to alert at the onset of seizure or vertigo, then the person with asthma loses, because they can use their inhaler.

As someone pointed out....

That's right.

Suppose the person uses the marihuana medicinally?

The barbershop owner wins, because the use of medicinal marihuana does not automatically assume a disability under the ADA.

Suppose the person does have a disability under the ADA, and they are using medical marihuana, how would the court rule?

The court's ruling will be that it is reasonable for the person using marihuana to either abstain momentarily, or wait a reasonable amount of time for the odor to dissipate before entering the barbershop, or any other establishment, such as a restaurant.

If I walk into a restaurant, and I smell marihuana, the restaurant manager has the choice of tossing those people or being sued by me.

I smell money...

Good to have a public sign out front, as well.

Yes, it does. The smell of marijuana smoke, just like tobacco smoke, clings to clothing, particularly that made of synthetic fabric. It's very difficult to mask. Washing is really the only way to get rid of the odor.

I'm just glad Jimmy Haslam got rid of those other two douchebags in the front office in Joe Banner and Mike Lombardi! And they cut Brandon Weeden, who I suppose now we can call a 2 sport failure!

But I digress. Not all of us "potheads" subscribe to the generic stereotype that we're all a bunch of lazy degenerate stoners. Think of this too... where would music be today without cannabis? Not today's music so to speak, but some of the stuff from back in the day!
Hey concerts would not be the same without some weed. Like I said I indulged back in the day......I got kids now so don't take the chance.

As for the Brownies yes you boys need a QB............STILL. All you had to do was give up that second rounder to get RGIII although he's hurt all the time. There are some studs this year so you should snag one...........and hope. That is all you can do on draft day. Hope they pan out as you never know. I did like Kosar...........that guy just flipped that thing out there and somehow it got to where he sent it......LOL.

It is very prevalent actually............when I go out to say the casino where not many even smoke I can smell it in my clothes the next day. I think folks who do it all the time just get used to it. I mean I have no problem with it but it is there.

I cant' imagine this is going to change a thing. I have sympathy for anyone with a customer who stinks for whatever reason but most people who use pot don't smell of it.
