There's a lot of bigotry and hatred from the left toward the South and southerners. My question is, why?
Its not just liberals to be honest. I grew up in southern Louisiana and when you met people that weren't from the south it was fairly universal that they were surprised you could talk in an understandable manner. I have a few friends that went to Princeton, MIT, Yale, other ivy's for Bachelor's/Grad programs and they all had to go through a "proving themselves" stage where other classmates and even professors felt that there was no way they could be educated enough to be there since they were educated in the south.
Such as mother jones publishing an article and map showing the percentage of people who watch gay porn in southern states is more than elsewhere. What's the point?

And those of us with degrees from southern universities are sometimes told those degrees are meaningless as the universities are just so much worse than those elsewhere (even when the schools are ranked comparably).
I've met moderate and conservative northerners that thumb their noses
It's based on stereotypes, I was guilty of that myself until I went to the south and fell in love with parts of it. Although I have no desire to ever see Texas or Oklahoma.

They did? Where?
Reporting actual data is not bigotry, it's just reality. Making infrences from it can be...but raw numbers just are.

The point is to show that its ironic that there is more gay porn being watched in several states that have had anti-gay laws passed in them. The problem with that is that there have been several non-southern states that had anti-gay laws passed in them.

Then they color coded the states talking about where gay marriage was legal and where it wasn't. Quit pretending like there's no motive.
