This. ^

The only time I hear people pulling the whole "State's rights" argument is when I know they are a racist or have a serious lack of understanding on what the Civil War was fought over.

Was it fought over State's Rights? Yes. It was fought over the state's rights to allow slavery. Calling it state's rights and not suggesting it was about slavery is as bad as denying the Holocaust ever happened. Seriously, get a grip, Civil War history is well recorded.

No never. To any neo-Confederate on here that voted yes, I suggest you look up Appomatox. This question has been answered already, in blood, back in the 1860s.

Yes I do support it! Let the trashy "Conservative" South "Secede" already! Let those who really pay taxes pay for things!
You won't have to worry about "Abortions" or "Gays" anymore!

We like our 'Subways" and our "public transit" and our "schools"!

Better a backwater region than a blood-soaked empire.

How about counties? can they secede as well?
IMO if your country has problems you fix the problems you dont disolve the country..
However with todays Situation of Americans hating Americans instead of working together to fix the countries maladies its obvious Americas best days are gone.Rather unfortunate as America was once a damn good place to be.
