Ok so Wellpoint adds one million new customers many thanks to the ACA and as a publicly held company they are boosting their profits at the expense of government. I am wondering if you are a conservative if you are willing to move your health care out of BCBS-Wellpoint into a non-profit or another company due to the increasing government- socialism associated with the ACA? Remember open enrollment starts in November.
Another sign that lobbyists do rule DC my friend.
Insurance wrote the bill. And if you knew that then you'd know that they wrote that bill to financially benefit themselves.

As Baucus himself repeatedly boasted, the architect of that legislation was Elizabeth Folwer, his chief health policy counsel; indeed, as Marcy Wheeler discovered, it was Fowler who actually drafted it.
..
What was most amazing about all of that was that, before joining Baucus' office as the point person for the health care bill, Fowler was the Vice President for Public Policy and External Affairs (i.e. informal lobbying) at WellPoint, the nation's largest health insurance provider (before going to WellPoint, as well as after, Fowler had worked as Baucus' top health care aide). And when that health care bill was drafted, the person whom Fowler replaced as chief health counsel in Baucus' office, Michelle Easton, was lobbying for WellPoint as a principal at Tarplin, Downs, and Young.
He's really not very talented. His music was marginal at best.
Most of it was even laughable IMO.
this is a matter of opinion: some of us like one type of music, some another. I don't think there is a single rapper out there that has any talent, but a lot of them are pretty damn popular. Does that mean they are talented? Nope, nor does it mean I am right? Nope.
Longview, Texas has decided to cancel Ted Nugent from its annual Fourth of July Festival. Nugent would have received $32,000 for appearing but apparently Longview decided that Nugent calling the President a sub-mongrel among other things was enough. Previously Nugent in a concert said "Piece Of ****" Obama Should "Suck On My Machine Gun." From a 2007 concert where an assault-rifle-wielding Nugent also referred to then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as "a worthless *****":
I am left to wonder are there any other cities or counties in the south and rural areas willing to cancel Nugent concerts in public arena's at public functions such as fairs. Or will Nugent be a hero in the south? It looks like its a start. There are still some good people who are willing to say a line has been crossed.
What makes you think this has anything to do with the south? Do you really think only rural areas and southern states pay entertainers to entertain? Boy do you live a sheltered life if that is what you are thinking.. Nugent obviously has a huge dislike for our President, just like you have a real hatred against Republicans. I guess hatred crosses both side of the aisle.
Of course when I see anything appearing in HPost, I take it with a grain of salt.
Nugent is a Republican hero in fine form, he wore a diaper for a week without changing it in order to avoid being sent to Vietnam (he was deemed unfit for service). He has a yellow streak that is often found on people who over compensate with their mouth's about how tough they are.

He showed up in a crap filled diaper. They classed him 'looney tunes' and sent him home.
I guess the Army got it right, because the boy is still looney tunes today.
