Mexico's culture; if it became BETTER than the US, that'd be a DIFFERENT "Mexico" like as in most of its people would be doing well and so on.

Uh; try again there. Many American "Hispanic" people DON'T like Mexico and WOULD fight to protect the US.

And if you knew anything about said military, you would know that your statement is so far off the mark it isn't even funny. It's sad and pathetic really.

In the Navy, we're trained and taught not to see race or skin color, but Navy blue across the board.

Would you be willing to bet money on this, because I would certainly be willing to bet money against you on this (that at least one Hispanic/Latino in the U.S. military will agree to take up arms against Mexico in such a scenario)?

I am as well from the perspective of morality, though on a personal level, I would be extremely disappointed with such a decision.

I was not talking about culture. Rather, I was talking about wealth, standard of living, et cetera. And No, these things are not necessarily always related to culture.

That would be unconstitutional ... see Texas v White 1867. No land under the American flag can leave the Union. Once your in, you can never get out.
