I really don't have a problem with this. If the kids went to high school in Florida, then they should get in-state tuition. Until our pansy government is willing to take on real immigration reform, then we might as well let them get an education at the same price that other residents of their state pay. Obviously, immigration reform would be preferable.

Oh look, another teabagger distancing himself from the sinking ship. I thought the more conservative you were, the better your chances of winning?

Although, that might be an interesting program. If you are really, really smart we'll give you your citizenship immediately. Hmmmmmm, I could get behind that.
If you want to give someone in America a free college education, give it to an American.

If a majority of Floridians approve, why should any of us non Floridians care?

Their state...Their business.

Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that if your kid wants to go to college in Florida, he/she is going to pay more than his illegal immigrant classmates will.

If my kid has an issue with it, then don't go to school in Florida.

There are 49 other states.

If Floridians approve if this, why should I care? I don't live in Florida.

Other states are considering it too.

There are 10-15 other states that already allow it.

I think it is ridiculous.

Why is it a US citizen who moves to Florida and works, has to wait a year before they or any family member is eligible for in-state tuition, yet someone not even legally in the country can get in-state tuition?
