single women more than single men are more concerned about security. they vote more liberal because the liberal side is the side that is viewed as the side that provides government security. period. it aint rocket science

I voted for Reagan in my first presidential election. Then I was indoctrinated into liberalism in College and voted for Clinton and Dukakis. Then I got married, then I started sensing things were not right. I started seeing the hypocrisy of the left. I started reading more history and I started listening to a libertarian radio host after 9/11. I began to awake from my leftist stupor and return to my conservative roots. My father was a democrat and my mother was a republican, so I can't say that I was influenced by either of them. I don't think that marriage changed my political views, because it wasn't until 9/11 that I realized that life is too short to be a lemming.

I asked this question because the GOP chair said they don't have a women problem they have a single women under 30 problem(and its true).
married women rely on their husbands, Single women rely on the government/thread
