There is a major conflict going on over there, many innocent people are losing their lives, international law is being broken.... its horrible.
Syria needs help. America wonders if it should go help.
American citizens give very harsh responses.... "Who cares about Syria!?" "Let em die! who cares its not our problem!"
US ended up not doing anything to help, we left them to die.
Fast forward to today...
Ukrainians in Crimea (going against their constitution) turned their back on "their" country and is wanting to join Russia. (complete opposite of what is going on in Syria) but now Americans want the USA to do more?
What is so special about this island in the Black Sea?
Syria -- everyone wants us to mind our own business.... children are being gassed to death? meh who cares.
Ukraine -- now all of a sudden everyone wants us to not mind our own business.
I don't say that and do not know why we didn't help. I suspect it was because Putin was behind the Syrian government. It is so sad.
