I'll ask again.....why should we care where others decide to pray?
I can tell you this. It doesn't bother me. Way too many other issues to worry about in this country, than where one is praying, and what religion they subscribe to.
I've worked in offices with Muslims, lived in cities with Muslims, and had Muslim friends. They must have prayed in private because I never saw them drop to the floor or pavement at certain times of the day... and the taxis always run.
A lot of Christians don't pray before a meal but yet some do. Why is it our business what others do?
I recognize their need for prayer and their rights to do so, If it was that important and adherent to their prayers they would have known not to be on a crowded gallery at that time. Why were they praying for spectacle? It a tourist spot with lots of people.
Bu bu bu bu...but it's their right . Our constitution says so... and to say anything different would make you a Muslim hater.

Besides if I was a Muslim about to unpack a bomb I'd do it in an isolated area with little foot traffic. Its reassuring that security at this tourist attraction has eyes in those areas.

Same here, I work with many and the only way I knew they were Muslim is because they told me.
I'm sure this is precisely why they did it. Some muslims love to make a spectacle of their public praying– they'll do it in inappropriately crowded public places for maximum agitation effect– so if anybody gives them the evil eye they can cry racism and the liberal media will run with it for weeks because it fits so perfectly into their "America is racist and intolerant" narrative.
