I'm an independent.

I dislike Republicans because of the religious crazies, the anti-science nutters, military spending, anti-gay marriage, anti-weed legalization, anti-renewable energy, etc.

I dislike Democrats because they're ignorant on economic matters, detached from reality, high taxes, no personal responsibility, they think that government is the solution to everything, they don't understand the concept of moral hazard. They think if anyone is poor, in jail, uneducated, etc. it must be because of poverty, racism, or sexism, or society failing them. It couldn't possibly be their own fault.

I dislike both because they're pro-immigration, full of crony capitalists, anti-personal freedom, war mongers. I dislike the Republicans a little less because they're not as big a threat to my qualify of life.

Any time a politician believes the only answer is to raise taxes I am the opposite and don't give a damn about anything they have to say. They get enough of our money. Never believe that they will be happy with what they get and tomorrow they will be looking at your pay.

I vote for the PERSON, not the party.
At least, that is how I have voted in the past.
NOW, however, I find that there is not one single Democrat that I can justify voting for.
there are also a lot of republicans that I can't vote for!
I may have to vote The Constitution Party.
or perhaps Libertarian.

"Cheers mate" is the correct option.

I am a registered Republican but I have voted all over the board. The biggest voting mistake I've ever made was voting for Carter.

Even back in the good old days when all around me were promoting free love and STDs for all, I was voting conservative.

I will never, ever vote for the sitting Republican governor in my state. Maybe another Republican, maybe a democrat, but never her.

@The OP: I agree with the Democrats on more issues, but there are certain issues which I agree with the Republicans on.

Overall, though, I am not completely pleased with either of the two main parties which we have.

Neither. I don't believe in politics, government, or the two-party system.

I chose:
I don't vote, I don't belong to a party, I am above all that

Democracy is outdated. Monarchism is the future.
