My sweet father is 93 and I can tell when he's had Faux News on all day. First, he and the lady that comes over a few days a week to drive him places are all in an anti-Obama lather. I love them both but refuse to talk politics when them, especially when she called Obama a black ba**ard in front of my son. She in her 70's.
Nothing fires up the base quicker than some good old-fashioned ANGER. That's the emotion that Faux promotes.
Thank goodnes my father is smarter than than and has lately taken to old back and white movies on Turner Classic. He's no longer an angry old fart all the time.
Exactly, if these people continue to feed their anger by a steady diet of Fox News, they are going to have strokes and heart attacks. They need to get off the channel and start enjoying life again. So much more to life than constantly feeling extreme anger and fearing doom.
you are a perfect example of the type of LWNJ i'm talking about. you are so desperate to froth to the world about the dreaded 'fox news' that you dredged up a 3-year-old blog about it
so, yes, your are correct: you are are there, and you are definitely getting angrier.

I hadn't read it yet. I appreciate the OP bringing it to my attention. Sorry that you feel the need to be defensive about it. The more you rant, the more you prove the point.
So? Williams said something rude and prejudicial. Pretty hypocritical when black leaders say whites shouldn't be scared of blacks wearing hoodies Rebuttal fail, T-310

Calm down and relax. The Angry Fox Geezer syndrome still exists and unfortunately is growing. I have seen countless social events and gatherings totally ruing by these Geezers. When these Geezers start spewing their anger, reasonable people start leaving the event.

you haven't even read this three year old blog post but you're here babbling and frothing?
My father used to watch Fox news for hours every evening. He was hard of hearing, and had the tv turned up at full volume, which made it impossible to ignore. From what I heard, all news reports were of the "sky is falling" mentality, with lots of outrage over this and that. Comments made by the left were taken out of context and repeated ad nauseam.
Without exception, phrases and "facts" made by the Fox news reporters would be parroted by people on talk radio, online forums and - sorry - angry fox geezers, of which my poor father was one.
