I don't know anyone who thinks keeping the money he's earned is greedy. Greed does exist, and it exists regardless of one's income. If my neighbor becomes greedy, it won't affect you nor me. When those who are responsible for keeping the financial sector intact become greedy, it's another story.
Guess you haven't paid much attention the the Occupy crowd? They think that CEO's don't deserve to keep the money they've earned.
Sure. They are stealing your money and giving it to those greedy veterans
BAaaa read again, I said I would rather take the money from welfare able bodied people and more than quadruple your pay. Excuuuuse me for thinking that.
Veterans are one of the few reasons I am happy to pay "a reasonable" tax. And P.S. thank you for your service. What those who prepare or have seen battle have done something that I can not do and especially come back sane.
We pay politicians big bucks yet we pay people who put their lives on the line next to nothing. It's a DISGRACE!
If I was worth millions I would gladly share with those less fortunate. Why would I need all that money. Here we have CEO's who make millions yet do nothing. And then we have people working their ass off and only make minimum wage.
I think you have them confused with the Hollywood elite. I notice you didn't include them in with the "do nothing for their wealth" crowd. Why is that?
Have you ever even known a CEO? They work FAR harder than the minimum wage drone, with more responsibility and risk. And that's not including the years of hard work to get educated.
How much do you pay each year in taxes ? I paid 21% last year. If Forbes is right, T Boone Pickens only paid 17%, Bill Gates 14%, Warren Buffet paid 11%, Tim Cooke paid 18%, Larry ellison paid 15%.
Please tell me why i am paying a larger percentage of my income in taxes than people who make hundreds of millions if not billions.
If you want to argue that we should all be paying less( but all at the same percent) then great, but that doesnt seem to be what you are saying.
You seem to be pissed that their money is going to someone who is less fortunate.
Update: some of those figures seem to be from 2011. point is still the same.
You argument is flawed as well. You are comparing income to gains.

Where would you get the money to quadruple anyone's salary? Your whole argument here is that taxes are stealing, and greedy. Pick one argument and run with it, because you can't have it both ways.
I am glad you are starting to see the error in your black and while arguments.

I want to take your money and than quadruple military salaries

See the problem? You defeat your own argument.
