I'm trying to figure out the point of your post. Apparently it's a complaint about the media coverage of this story but I don't understand why this is a problem. I don't understand why you call it propaganda.

If you read about the findings from BICEP2, they make these claims from the detection of E and B mode polarization and there are arguments whether these components are even cosmological.
The media sensationalism COMBINED with skepticism from field professionals who say "nothing is solved yet".

When NY Times printed that article Kamionkowski stated "The results of BICEP2 were not fully understood"....BY HIM. This is the same guy who said it's a "smoking gun"!!
1 - Why would the field/media fell compelled to release some grandstanding video and make emphatic statements that this has been "proven" when the science is clearly unsettled...
2 - Why was such major news propagated in such a weird and anti-climactic way. It seemed like it was scripted.

You don't know my education level, the people in my network, or my ability to understand relevant scientific data.
Based on my review, and the support, I see no widespread disagreement in the scientific community regarding these facts.
People who blast theories, don't understand. . its like seeing a huge number of signs , roads, weather patterns, etc all pointing in the same direction. All giving you the same data. Independently and uniquely verifiable and all tests only seek to confirm the hypothesis
I'm up . . .for your theory. If all signs point to this event . . what is your theory that competes? One that fills in all the same gaps as this theory does, but just happens to be different
