That's three votes for "sink or swim," or, as I think of it, "Screw 'em."
Got it.
Would you be willing to eliminate consequences for everyone else, as welfare recipients are free to enjoy? I would LOVE to not pay my taxes and suffer no consequences for not paying.
They're sociopaths and people with bad luck should just die, already. It's not their problem. Knowing that there are real people like this in the world is pretty sickening, isn't it?
I am unaware of anyone being homeless due to "bad luck".
Bad decisions and bad planning, yes.
But bad luck? Not sure if luck even exists truth be told, but the lack of it has never rendered anyone sans roof.

Bwahahahahaha … did you type that with a straight face?
And aren't you the one who announced that it's not your problem if some fanatical Christian parents kicked their gay teenager out of the house, without food, shelter or resources?
I don't even want to know what the inside of your brain must be like.
I think this picture (from the UK, but they have the same ingrained parasite welfare class we do) sums up this entire thread:
Some here would have the productive class subsidize this clearly able bodied mans entire existence so they can pat themselves on the back for their "compassion"...always easiest to be generous with other peoples money after all.
The rest of us would rather let him feed himself or starve of his own volition as is right.

Not "the" house.
"Their house".
Unless he was paying rent and had tenants rights, his stay was solely at their discretion.
I'm going to go on a limb and assume he knew his parents well enough to know the outcome of coming out as a homosexual.
He chose to do, and suffered the consequences. This is perfectly just.
Again, he did not plan for his inevitable eviction by securing shelter/money etc. ahead of time.

Oh yes, pull some weird photo from the UK and spread around some sweeping generalizations about the U.S.
People who think that teenagers deserve to live life on the streets because it's "not my problem" are as big a threat to America -- note that we're discussing America here, not the UK -- as the poor people you dismiss as unworthy of life.
No. It is the government's role to provide a safety net for those in need.
Should we abandon that safety net?
We should always have a safety net, but that net needs to be much smaller. Those who are truly in need and unable to fend for themselves should always be protected, but those who are just plain too lazy to get off the couch and put down the free Doritos need to go to work. You can't always have what you want. Not everyone is going to be a CEO or a manager. You deal with the hand that is dealt you.

Dear lord.
The cold cruelty, selfishness and genuine, unapologetic hard-heartedness of that post staggers the mind. I cannot post to you anymore within the terms of service here on CD, because frankly, you don't deserve the civility that those terms require.

Their "dole" culture is identical to our "welfare" culture.
The comparison is apt whether you like it or not.
The only difference being if you attempted getting our parasites to be self-sufficient they'd riot, not just wave signs.

Shocking surveillance video shows a man gunned down at a Michigan convenience store, and to make matters worse, customers coming in and out the store ignore and step around the body.
It all happened at a Quick Stop store in Kalamazoo, Mich., in September 2012.
You can see the video of 24-year-old Jheryl Wright getting out of his car, purchasing something and then talking to a clerk. He then heads to the door to walk out the store when someone guns him down in cold blood.
After the shooting, four different customers stepped over or around the body. Even the clerk continues to serve customers. Finally, a fifth customer calls 911.
These are basic core Democrat voters (black Michigans with bizarrely spelled names), surely they could not have been so cruel?
Life is harsh lady, get used to it.
