Very intense heavy metal detoxification protocols which took many many months and thousands of dollars in detox supplements, cleansing supplements, and other alternative medical interventions to assist in removal of toxins.

There are other stories from other affected families that are remarkably consistent with this one. Sadly, this only accounts for a fraction of children affected, as the majority never receive effective treatment, 1) because few are even aware of these treatments ... and ... 2) of course, standard medical insurance doesn't cover such "quackery".
So is every other drug we take, which are many. So why single out birth control. Birth control is not mind altering or addictive like narcotics yet you seem to have a problem with them.
Natalie, don't be dense ... this is not a competition, and it's not an either/or situation. The water supply is rife will all sorts of nasties, including the vast amounts of drugs consumed and eliminated through the body. What you apparently don't understand is that these drugs, just like vitamins are only assimilated into the body and metabolized in fractions of the original amounts taken. The residual is eliminated, and recycled down the toilet, and back into the drinking water supplies, which are simply treated with more chemicals to kill germs and bacteria, but does nothing to remove these chemicals. In fact, your water, if you don't use a real filter (not those crap filters in a pitcher) you are consuming all of those chemicals, along with the crap added, AND all if the dead bacteria fragments and spores and viruses ... yum yum! The latest and greatest versions of fluoride are capable of sneaking past some of the better filtration systems now. This is no accident or coincidence .. they want you to have your dose of fluoride, Natalie ... because they care about you, and want you to have good teeth. The dentists are all in favor of this too ... because there is nothing they'd like more than for everyone to improve their dental health to the point that we wouldn't need dentists anymore. Just a bunch of selfless do-gooders these medical and dental professionals are!!! I'm being sarcastic in case you are confused.
We have high levels of lithium in the water now ... all of the other drugs that 1/3 of the entire population are taking ... from statin drugs to psychotropics, to birth control, to everything else.
And it all works together quite nicely .... the estrogenic compounds in the drugs, combined with the estrogenic soy, combined with the growth hormones added to the feed of domestic animals ... which not only appear in the meat, but the dairy products too! This is why 8 year old girls are now developed enough to pose for playboy magazine, and boys development is virtually arrested, and nationally, the sperm count is about half if what it was 20 years ago.

Its first this and then that in these studies. I often think its more linked to use of drugs that is passed on thru generations and such. The truth is we have no actual idea since they started with lead but that didn't slow it.

Did you keep him away from kid's clothing, mattresses, capeting, cars, upholstery, foam, toys and everything in between? These things are loaded with flame retardants, which are neurotoxons and accumulate in the bloodstream.

I'm hearing and reading more and more about heavy metal toxicity and autism / health.
Dr Mark Hyman has a good article on this, they do know now that there is something different in an autistic child's gut compared to non-autistic.
The estrogenic affect of babies being fed soy based formulas (for the many who have dairy allergies) is equivalent to feeding them 5 birth control pills everyday!!! Yet these products are on the shelf ... no warning, and are used by many. Soy isn't even safe for adults, but for children, the effects can be devastating.
Fluoride in the water, tooth paste and other sources reduces IQ ... not to mention other deleterious effects.
Neurotoxins contained in vaccines are probably the most culpable source causing the most harm, though by far not the only source. And neurotoxins bioaccululate, so each source exposure adds to the overall exposure. But environmental exposure to these toxins are at least processed through the digestive system, whereas injected forms bypass that, leading to more likely passage through the blood brain barrier, where it can inflict the greatest and most noticeable harm to the brain.
The great fraud being perpetrated here does not require one to be a chemist, microbiologist, or any type of professional to understand ... you simply need a couple of working brain cells, and a bit of common sense ... both of which are becoming more rare as each day passes, because few people care to actually think for themselves, and prefer to believe what the "experts" tell them to believe. This of course assumes that these experts are being honest ... but the dishonesty is OBVIOUS.
Good old fashioned common sense is all one needs. Because heavy metals, and other neurotoxins bio accumulate ... meaning that they build up over time as one continues to be exposed ... the mere suggestion that there is a "safe level" of exposure, such that the lying rat finks at the FDA, EPA, CDC continue to claim is a blatant fraud at face value.
The most obvious point .... because there is no way to measure an individual's exposure over time, there can be no safe level stipulated since that would assume a one time exposure. This is even easier to grasp when discussing levels of fluoride added to drinking water! Each person's body clears toxins at different rates, based on several variables to include body weight, and the efficiency of their bile system. Then, you have variable amounts of intake ... not everyone drinks the same amounts of water! So how on earth can any honest person claim a safe level of fluoride is in an 8 oz glass, when one person might drink 10 glasses, and another might drink only 4? How can it be safe for an adult of 180 lbs if they drink 24 oz of fluoridated water, while a child of 65 lbs drinks 32 oz? And this is just a single source!!! There is no way to account for the actual amount of exposure from all other sources.
The fraud in such claims as safe levels of nuerotoxins is so obvious, there really is no excuse for anyone to be fooled by this. This is 2+2 level logic ... not the least bit complex.
Given that my post mentioned the word "vaccine" .. it won't take long for the stalwert gate keepers to swoop in spewing their propaganda and lies. You can set your watch to it, and you can also bet on the thread being abruptly closed, as every other thread that casts any type of scrutiny on vaccines is treated. That you can take to the bank.
Then it doesn't make sense that the increasing rates unless the portion of society having the most babies are the most autistic.
