Alaskan petition to secede and join Russia gaining steam (border, rating, national debt)

So if we sold it back to them for 7,200,000 in today's dollars...or 14.4B. Then we revoke their citizenship and require a visa for all the people to enter the US. The oil continues with the same leases with the oil companies. and you have a frozen waste land that could become Siberia 2... Sounds like a great plan, as long as Sarah Palin is in it.

28,000 signatures in 5 days. Gov says it will issue a press conference if it hits 100k in 30 days. Hope it does...although, probably will fizzle out.

It's just right there across the river and everyday I give thanks I'm a citizen of this great and wonderful country and not consigned to that Lala insanity land over there.
