Maybe Putin will send his troops to Alaska to save Russians like he did in Crimea

28,000 signatures in 5 days. Gov says it will issue a press conference if it hits 100k in 30 days. Hope it does...although, probably will fizzle out.

This could set off a welcome precedent though.
It isn't going to happen, not in any of our life times. On line anythings mean almost nothing.

and who on lines is checking to see if they are Alaskan citizens. I think most of us know this isn't a honest true petition. It is meant to stir up the pot, that's all.

A lot of libs here are swallowing a spoof hook, line, and sinker. Alaskans are not going to support reunification with Russia. Some might support seceding from the US and forming and independent nation, but not linked to Russia in any way, shape, or form. Libs are so gullible.

Alaska has been the beneficiary of a huge amount of US government handouts. Russia must look better and better as the pork gets cut off.

You're right--it was wishful thinking. So many Alaskans complain about government interference. I was hoping they would join Russia and find out what REAL government interference, control and spying feels like.

So how many traitors do we have?

I mean really this is like the definition ...."a person who is not loyal to his or her own country"

Hopefully not too many actual Americans are signing this.

I highly doubt it. Although it would be interesting to see Sarah Palin's face if that happened.
