Indeed. And it's important for the rest of us to ensure that their attempts fail. Americans should be reminded of Republican incompetence and perfidy at least once a week.

Remember when criticism of the US president during wartime was treasonous? Great days.

libertarians are not for small government either and they supported the same bs as conservatives. Stop the fantasy stuff.

It's fantasy to you because you're guzzling the leftist kool aide. Here is a hint: you may want to look up what libertarians actually stand for, instead of spewing lies and spreading propaganda! Repeating a lie over and over does not make it true. Furthermore, I already told you that I supported none of the policies you're complaining about, so are you then calling me a liar?

Yeah. Why don't you post the national debt figures from Jan. 2009 and those from today?

So there is 10% to account for that didn't vote for Obama based on his blackness or being a democrat.

Democrats viscously attack black conservatives, black conservatives got a verbal whipping for daring to be conservative instead of democrat.
Why is it conservatives can continually post this tripe and then scream RACE CARD if a Democrat dare suggest that there are some people who do not care for Obama solely due to his race.

Doesn't it stand to reason, poster, that if your assertion is true - the reverse must also be true?

The anti-muslim we should racially profile muslims sentiment that was rampant in conservative media. The anti-immigrant/border security mexicans might be muslim terrorists fear mongering that occurred.

And I suppose you think Bush and Rove and those in his administration were "Conservatives?"

The idiots running the GOP will probably steal defeat from the jaws of victory this election cycle. The GOP will refuse to support conservative candidates, even if they are running against incumbent democrats in the general election. Hell, they would probably even help the democrats to beat them, by supplying the dems with Republican opposition research on their own candidates.

I hate to call people idiots, but that is exactly what they are. The GOP could easily win if they distanced themselves from the far-right ideologues. Instead, they believe that people are rejecting their message because they aren't conservative enough. In reality, it is because they are too conservative.

Winning the GOP nomination for president requires the candidate to be very far right, but when the national election rolls around, that candidate is way too right to win because the electorate doesn't associate themselves with the far-right message.
