My favorite Harry rant is saying income tax is voluntary.

I know signing up to let your employer take money out is...but, don't sign and see if you still have a job.

And the number of users who access your website at the same time is likely a small number as well.

Your database will be accessed with an SQL command which will retrieve exactly the items the user is interested in seeing.

If your website sells widgets, then you will likely have an SQL statement like this:

SELECT widgets FROM widget database WHERE widget-column-1 = ???? and widget-column-2 = ????, etc.

And only those widgets which match the SQL query will be returned, and then displayed for the user to view.

So your website will not be pulling MILLIONS of items from your database at the same time. It will only be retrieving whatever your user is interested in viewing at that moment.

And once again ... you are only talking about a SMALL NUMBER of users on your website at the same time.

Not MILLIONS like Health Care.gov has to deal with.
You have no fricken clue.. I track not only what I sell things for but also dozens of others so not only is it connecting to my server but also others, just like Amazon connects to THOUSANDS of other suppliers simultaniously..

the millions of products are stored into ram, its not pulled from the database at the same time because that would be so fn slow. Thats why my servers have a minimum of 128 gigs of ram in them.

Unfortunately, many people will applaud the enrollment numbers without truly understanding what the said actually represents.

I'm more curious about the numbers with regard to how many have actually paid.

85% and the Ins Cos will push those that haven't to pay up, for obvious reasons.
