CFA even provides a trash can in the drive thru lane so you can dump your trash from previous visits or even from visits to other fast food establishments. In the area I am, it is the only place that does that.

Well, they have the best food. Their chicken nuggets are everything and their employees don't get an attitude when you ask for extra ketchup or bbq sauce. Good food and great customer service is why they are killing the competition.

The real surprise here isn't that Chick FilA is Number 1, its that KFC is as high as Number 2.

Has anyone ever seen a KFC that is busy?

I haven't either.

I totally agree. The food is really, really good. and if you need extra buttermilk ranch or bbq sauce or whatever, any location of chic fil a that i have been too has never given me an attitude about it. They have great customer service. One time i wanted to try a different dressing so they gave me two packages, the one i usually eat and the one i want to try. those arent big deal but if u go somewhere else, they usually huff and puff and get a little nasty.

and not just the drive thrus but inside to eat as well. I have twins and my hands are full and they even carry the tray to the table for me numerous times. Not just the food, but t customer service has me going back again and again.

Sales
System-wide sales in 2012 reached $4.6 billion. These figures reflect an 14 percent increase over the chain's 2011 performance and a same-store sales increase of 8 percent.

Innovative Concepts
Mall/In-Line Restaurants: Recognized as the pioneer in quick-service mall food, Chick-fil-A still considers mall-based Restaurants an integral part of its business. More than 300 major shopping mall Restaurants are in operation today.

Stand-alone Restaurants: In response to customer demand for convenience and accessibility, Chick-fil-A began opening stand-alone Restaurants in high-traffic locations starting in 1986. The chain now has over 1000 stand-alone locations.

Drive-Thru Only Outlets: These outlets offer fast service and added convenience to the customer. Chick-fil-A currently has 33 drive-thru-only Restaurants across the country.

There are another 4 types of CFA stores, but they are minor in number.
We have them on college campuses here in Texas.

In my town of 100,000 we have three Chick Fil A's. One in the mall & two stand alone locations.
