Wouldn't the soldiers having guns be illegal under Posse Comitas and the Insurrection Act? They are suppose to use guns over there, not here.

Not to mention the person standing right next to the shooter wouldn't make a difference of he had a gun. Pop pop pop pop. There, four people are dead before you even looked up from your newspaper.

This Is Why Most Military Personnel Aren’t Armed on Military Bases

You know you are full of **** when even The Blaze refutes you.

Yeah..just what we need. G.I's walking around bases with sidearms.

Break out in a drunken argument over some chick that dumped him for another mustache (and this happens A LOT), and shoot it out in the barracks.

Nevermind all the cheating spouses on your average military base causing incidents where guys would surely shoot it out.

I was in Germany when this one happened:

From the link:

Quote:

Steven Bucci, a military expert for The Heritage Foundation who served 28 years in the Army and retired in 2005 with the rank of colonel, also told TheBlaze Tuesday afternoon that Clinton is not to blame.

“I think you are barking up the wrong tree if you are looking to put blame on someone for disarming the military,” said Bucci, when asked if Clinton was responsible. “I think that’s kind of a bogus story.”

“We have never had our soldiers walking around with weapons all the time, other than in combat zones,” he added, noting only Military Police have had that authority.

Well, I can only certify the way it was when I was on active duty in the Navy and in the Army: NO, you could NOT carry your personal or issued weapon on base! Personal weapons had to be stored in the Armory, NEVER in the barracks. The same went for issued weapons, except they were stored in the Unit Armory. When I was in the Army, that is. In the Navy, I was never issued a weapon, except for qualifications, then it was cleaned and turned back in.
This was 1959-1966. In VietNam, however, we carried our personal weapon EVERYWHERE. I carried an M-1 Carbine, because I hated the M-14.

clinton had nothing to do with the weapons regulations back then!

I find it interesting that none of the stories I have seen indicates when, where, and how the shooter got his .45 auto. Has anybody seen any such article?

Gun's Galore in Killeen, same place Nidal Hasan bought his gun.
