The type of conservatism that is on the rise in Europe is absolutely foreign to American conservatism which is mostly focused on fiscal and to a lesser extent religious conservatism. The European conservatism that is on the rise is called national conservatism and it is strongly based on the concept of nationalism and the nation-state. A lot of the economic policies of these national conservative parties would be called socialist by American conservatives. Of course there is one caveat that separates the national conservatives from socialists and that is that they seek to deny benefits to anyone who is not a member of the nation's ethnic group. The Tea Party would find most of the policies of these national conservatives to be abhorrent. Tea Party members can be racist but the vast majority do accept non whites as citizens of the US while few national conservatives would call anyone who is not a member of their ethnic group citizens. Immigration and the EU expansion are what drove the growth of national conservatism in Europe.
National conservatives are also very skeptical of big business and believe that capitalism is a potential threat to the national integrity of a nation-state. Most of them oppose globalism, immigration, and outsourcing.

Nor would they back a party who's mandate is destructing social values/norms and whose aim is to pander to the rising demographic.
European nations need an influx of immigrants to sustain their benefits because the birth rates are too low. The problem is it's changing their culture. American culture is multinational, so it's not as hard for us to have immigration. But we're talking about countries with thousands of years of their own culture, so it's much harder for them to adjust.

It also shows how some governments have tried incentives to get people to have more children.
The ponzi scheme of the human race cannot go on forever. We have to get to a point where the population stays relatively the same and families take care of their elderly instead of expecting to find some 3rd world immigrants to work cheap and do it for them.
1 billion people is ideal for the planet. We have to quit sticking our noses into other cultures in other countries. They need to sink or swim on their own. We send shiploads of grain across the oceans to feed people who cannot feed themselves and all they do is procreate and make the problem worse.
We have to adopt a hands off policy like Star Trek-we need a prime directive. Don't help or hinder. And quit importing immigrants. Kick the ones out who are illegal and educate the ones who are legal.
Close the borders, control the population and crack down on crime hard.
Main reasons being only my two parents are left in the USA and they are immigrating back after retirement in 2 years. My sister moved to Berlin (Which I plan on doing) 3 years ago and is now raising a child.
US culture: hollywood, multiculturalism, materialism/addiction to pop culture, lack of values (homosexuality, interracial, broken families) double standards against Whites; disgust me. I don't want to raise children that admire Jay-Z and LeBron James (like Obama does) and feel guilty for being white. In 15 years (already if you count illegal aliens) this will no longer be a White nation but I doubt the hypocrisy against "the White system" and political correctness addiction will change.
I'm blessed with European citizenship and for better/worse I have no family here, so my decision is fairly easy. My outlook changed when I visited Germany for the first time in 2006. I've returned 3 times since and each time I feel more at home there and I dread the return to "my home" in the US. I lived here 25 years and I can firmly say I witnessed the climax of USA if not Western culture all together. If we are in the middle of an extended global economic struggle.....I rather experience that struggle among my own fellow Europeans that share the same basic values, ideals and outlook on life. 25 years in Multiculturalism has drained me.
Translation: You are a racist.
Jay-Z and Lebron James are products of pure capitalism. Both are very astute businessmen. Lebron James in particular came from NOTHING and was a model student in high school. Why wouldn't you want your children to admire him? ....You just don't like that they aren't white.

"Freedom", "liberty", and "restoration" are code for "white." Last I checked, the Bill of Rights haven't changed.
