lets not make this a Republican vs dems, or visa versa, b/c it's not, what its about is facts, and what really goes on out there in real live war.
If the Republicans were partisan hacks like the dems, they could have acted as vindictive and spiteful and released the atrosities committed under FDR, Johnson and Kennedy, and the things done under Bush would look tame and not even noteworthy by comparison.

I don't get how anyone with a conscience can support this kind of treatment of prisoners. In my mind stuff like this makes us as bad as them.
And stop saying they waterboarded 3 people, evidence points to more people than that. Also "rectal feeding".... Try and justify that one.
And the worst part is that according to the report "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" aren't even significantly more effective than other forms of intelligence and interrogation.

That's a silly hypothetical. How can you possibly know what he knows unless you're omniscient.

You can only guess. Then after you torture him into complete weariness, he'll just tell you what you wanna hear.

It's a waste of time.

It is. I know you have to believe otherwise so you don't have to admit to yourself you support right-wing sadistic scum, but it is. As is putting people head-first into sleeping bags and beating them, as is sodomizing them with glowsticks.

So you just keep pretending you aren't a torture supporter if it makes you feel better, but don't expect anyone other than your fellow torture-supporters to take you seriously.
Waterboarding is not torture.

No matter how many different ways you whine about it.

You are talking about the party that has had ongoing investigations in the House for years now, searching high and low for a scandal to pin on this administration. The current inhabitants of the Republican party ARE vindictive partisan hacks. No one is buying your reverse logic here.

Republicans are partisan hacks.

We waterboarded three people, out of tens of thosands that we captured or detained, big deal. We were not torturing them ala William Wallace, from the movie Braveheart.
Holding them without trial is also torture.

You didn't, but it wouldn't justify torture if you did.

You seem very desperate to downplay this report. I imagine that's because it makes your Republican masters look bad.
And you'd rather see thousands of innocent people die to make you feel good.

You act as if we waterboarded people on a regular basis. Meanwhile obama murders entire groups of people on a regular basis with drone attacks, just for being suspected terrorists. What would you rather, that we waterboard a selcet few, or blow up hundreds? Why I'm sure you'd rather blow up hundreds and thousands of suspected terrorists, not waterborad three known terrorists.

After waterboarding three terrorists, my hands are wet, while yours are soaked in blood.

Right wingers don't support it, and neither do dems....no body supports it, but it is....period....

No it doesn't justify torture, but life isn't always fair, no world is free of bad stuff...there is good and bad in everything, why in the world do you think America's CIA was testing back in the 50's to make a manturian candidate? Every nation, every country is always looking to create warefare solutions to prevent loss of life in its own country. Sometimes ya gotta do horrible things....like sometimes a leader has to make unpopular decissions....it's life....wake up

Go and fight in the front lines for a year and see what goes on....and what a person has to do to survive.

I'm sorry but Americans are way to soft and uninformed....and they believe we have to be lily white, well it can't always be that way.
