Most of that money is going to go to legal fees when she goes to trial for neglect.

its people like her aid was designed for.. I want people in her situation to reach out for help, not those who abuse the system and live off it..

Your right, I don't know if she gets aid. If she does, the fact that she was trying to get a job & better herself is all the more reason for her to receive help.

Sheesh, everything has to be one extreme or the other in this country it seems. Throw her in jail and take away her kids then give her $100,000 cash.

So if she does get aid & is trying to get a job isn't that proof that there are those who don't want to receive welfare?
According to many people (& you can read the posts on here from these folk) she is a 'leech' & they do not want their tax dollars going to help w food stamps or any aid at all.

If she couldn't find someone to watch her kids for 45 minutes during the interview, what was she going to do with the kids if she got the job? No pay check for the first 2-3 weeks. Was she going to leave them in the car while she was working?

jjrose She lives in a right to work state & they most employers don't hold a week.

If she is on any kind of aid, they will help her with babysitting only if she gets the job & provides proof.

Given the alternatives
1) Collecting welfare and aid to find a home
or
2) Endangering ones children by leaving them in a car unsupervised

I pick 1, no questions about it.. and I'm one of the biggest anti welfare individuals out there..

Dont be ridiculous.. we dont object to people who take welfare and use it as a stepping stone or need it. To even compare her to those who live off of these programs is insulting.

and how does leaving her children with complete strangers, i.e. in a car all alone expecting anyone who comes along to take care of them, help with babysitting?
