Then obvious the democrats in senate disagree with you because your argument is good reason not to extend unemployment benefits clearly. But then perhaps you think openings means jobs for all versus jobs for those who qualify. Not hard to get a burger flipper job or such parttime.

We own all the companies, remember? This would be excellent news for republicans. When the economy is booming we make a fortune. Except it isn't.

Today’s report showed about 2.5 people are vying for every opening, up from about 1.8 when the last recession began in December 2007.
Hmmm, must not be doing that well.

This means nothing. Employers only want applicants who have at least five years of experience for an entry level job. They aren't going to give employment to anyone who has less than that anyways. The number of job openings could double in a month and we still wouldn't have job growth with the way employers are these days.

It would be nice if we could stop the partisan bickering and actually discuss the challenges new technologies and globalization present to the Western economies.

Does that mean we get to hear no more whining about the inequality wealth gap?

Actually the wealth gap increases except for in recessions. If you want to decrease the wealth gap you need to promote recession producing policies.

Put that employer mandate in effect and ya might just see wealth inequality decrease.
