Iowa State is about 40 miles from us. VEISHEA is a "celebration" that has been going on for fifty years and is ALWAYS associated with drunken fights, bands, and hell raising at what otherwise is a fairly calm campus.
MANY parents have called for VEISHEA to be banned, as there is nothing but trouble with it each year.
I presume the "point" you are making is the irony of a "riot" at a predominantly white University? I guess you should actually read about it, as the only arrest made this year for violence at VEISHEA was one of the BLACK football players, who is now kicked off the team! Keep in mind as well that no homes or businesses are burned down, no racial hate crimes occur, and no one gets killed (unlike the black riots you are trying to exhonerate with VEISHEA). Ames (the home of Iowa State) has never been in flames as a result of this "celebration" (student hell raising).
When you are trying to make a "point", don't make yourself look ridiculous. Even in your example of a "white riot", the only person committing a crime was black!

Wow! You've reads about his arrest but none of the others? I find that pretty hard to believe. But then I guess talking about the other arrests wouldn't have allowed you to forward your agenda.

Thanks for pointing out that a lot of black assailants attack white victims.
You realize that those are simply threads started on this forum, right? The only thing those threads are evidence of are the kinds of events that this forum is more likely to give attention to as compared to the event that started this thread. You get that, right?
