The same ones who would also celebrate and/or laugh if my city were destroyed in an earthquake. That's just the conservative sociopathic mindset. I don't get it.

Let's just hope Congress is in session...

WTH is mentally wrong with this guy. I don't think anyone paid attention to him as a kid so now he lies, steals and creates stories to get attention.. Liberals are probably wetting themselves worrying about a dirty bomb and only the sheepels Shepard can save them. He definitely has a mental illness.

Politics of fear is so 2000. And that author went to Harvard but lives in L.A.

who cares what he opines.

Agreed, but a nuclear device, if ever used, would not go off in DC since there would be no one left to give into terrorist demands.

Well, if it happened in my city, trying to leave would be futile. It's an island. The bridges would be impassable.
Best thing to do would be to go underground. A big chunk of this town is underground, with 33 kms of connecting tunnels.

Terrorists rarely make demands. Their goal is to kill as many as possible. Killing the authors of the United States government would be the biggest coup of all.

Remember, it was assumed the 9-11 terrorists were headed to DC. DC was one of their targets.
