This is a disturbing post. You seem to almost revel in delight thinking that the United States government would take up arms against its own citizens simply because you have ideological differences with some of your countrymen.

Still a fair or flat tax would be logical and would prevent favoritism..

Everyone already pays taxes one way or another, so everyone already has "skin in the game." Though there are corporations out there paying very little or nothing in taxes, now they should have some skin in the game and pay their fair share.

Thanks for a good summation of the lefty position. During the 20th century approx. 170 million were killed by their own government. The overwhelming majority did not have a gun to shoot back with, because left wingers had banned them. As MLK Jr. noted in his Letter from a Birmingham Jail,
