Thanks to liberals, liberty is now meaningless.

Some idiot put a backpack containing a pressure cooker on Bolyston Street and the BPD would not let a citizen who lived nearby to access his own home.

Shortly before the detonation, an officer guarding the scene got into a heated exchange with a man who wanted to cross the police tape to get to his residence.

“There’s a bomb down the street,” the officer shouted to the man. “Do you understand that?”

Don't we have a 3rd Amendment that prevents soldiers from being quartered in private homes?

How does preventing a homeowner from entering his house not qualify as a 3rd Amendment violation?

All Democrats do is trample on the U.S. Constitution.

Since the liberal police state came upon this republic.

Liberals are all about power, control, and denial of liberty.

Oh, you can just tell! Because no CONSERVATIVE cop would prevent a man from entering a bomb zone. No siree. That would be a violation of the 3rd Amendment... or something.

First of all, dont mess with Mass. Its a cool state. Second of all, how does this apply to the third amendment? It doesnt.

No one was in his home. There was a secure perimeter around the potential bomb site. Not a 3rd Amendment issue.

It wasn't a bomb, it was a rice cooker filled with confetti. I hope that if someone ever leaves a crock pot in front of my house with a balloon in it that the police won't block my way into my house.

Well, if someone left a crock pot on your porch last year, and a member of your family opened the crock pot and it exploded and killed them, would you then open yet another crock pot on your porch a year later?

This isn't a 3rd Amendment issue unless the cops were hanging out in this guy's living room watching his tv and eating his food.

3 people were killed a year ago from yesterday. 14 lost limbs. A further 264 were injured, many with lifelong impact and major scarring. A few days later, a police officer was shot in his car (which I should note that I missed by about 15 minutes and was probably one of the last people to see Sgt. Collier alive), a man was carjacked (in a place where I almost parked if a friend hadn't offered to pay for a cab), and a quiet town was held in terror overnight.

If that happened to YOU a year ago, would you be so blase? What if your daughter was missing a leg? What if your sight was permanently damaged? What if you lost a child?
