Good grief. I carried a pocket knife in my pocket through 4 years of high school when I was a kid... This is absurd...
I remember my grandfather telling me all the kids carried them when he went to school and used them to carve their names and graduating year on the desks...
They also carried their shotguns in to the school and stored them in their locker until the end of the day when they would get together and go hunting after class.

Yeah, times have really changed, for sure.
I kept a rifle in the rifle rack on my pickup and carried it into shop class to refinish the stock and nobody thought anything about it.. What has this world become... Nuts.
I don't know why you think stun guns are so dangerous, they are defensive tools so I don't see why you would have a problem with them unless you like people becoming victims.

I definitely have an issue with kids bringing stun guns to school.
A knife is a tool and a good one for an EMT to carry. I could see why you would have a stun gun in your car - lots of road rage crazies out there. I could see school officials worry about the air soft guns but certainly not to the point of arrest and prosecution. More zero tolerance nonsense.
