As for your members of congress wasting time on another useless vote to repeal the ACA? i think they could spending their time and your money on more relevant issues.
Thanks to the ACA more Americans are getting healthcare insurance who in the past couldnt afford or didnt qualify for healthcare, sounds like a step in a positive direction to me..
It doesnt cost them money to vote to repeal ACA..

Thanks to ACA more americans are NOT getting healthcare.. Please follow the thread before you make such stupid statements.. Thats why they delayed the employer mandates for a year..

no I don't, the liberal news media is always reporting numbers that are untrue to plug it for him, and I'm sorry, but he is loosing popularity, so they are even pushing more....

I think people are disenchanted and waking up, thank God, but still there are so many people that have faith in they're parties which is so sad.

He's on a roll

Pinocchio Obama

I especially like this one:

“It’s here that companies like Solyndra are leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.” After Obama’s administration gave the company $535 million, Solyndra and its solar panels went belly up.

Gallup surveyed more than 20,000 Americans in March and found 4% more have insurance this year than last year. That means about 12 million more people have insurance. This is in line with other surveys and information from Healthcare.Gov and the insurance companies. Is everyone lying?

Newly Insured in 2014 Represent About 4% of U.S. Adults

That is not the question. How many of them are attributed to the ACA.

If we assume four million decided to sign up through work because of the mandate that still means a net of eight million through the exchange and Medicaid. We still have 12 million more with insurance than last year. There isnt much chance of any death spiral and I doubt if rates are going to go up next year.

I wouldn't use the word lying, except for Obama
It is just that the facts are not totally clear. And when the taxpayer is
shelling out over 2 Trillion to change the system, many are asking was it financially worth it or should
it had been scrapped from the beginning, and waited for something more cost efficient and with reliable
stats like "single payer"

How many “new” Obamacare exchange enrollees were previously uninsured? « Hot Air

- “A new study from the RAND corporation indicates that only one-third of exchange sign-ups were previously uninsured. The RAND study hasn’t yet been published, but its contents were made available to Noam Levey of the Los Angeles Times. RAND also estimates that 9 million individuals have purchased health plans directly from insurers, outside of the exchanges, but that “the vast majority of these people were previously insured.”

- "Goldman Sachs also anticipates that fully 75 percent of all the Obamacare sign-ups will be from people who already had insurance.”

- McKinsey –“Of the Obamacare sign-ups, only 27 percent had been previously uninsured in 2013. And of the 27 percent, nearly half had yet to pay a premium. (By contrast, among the 73 percent who had been previously insured, 86 percent had paid).”

"No, we are being lied to" is in the lead. Unbelievable. Do you realize that all the state exchanges would have to be "in on" this apparent masquerade? The old saying about any conspiracy larger than 3 holds true here as well. Making up millions of enrolees simply isn't happening.

There is no misrepresentation (the fact that some or many would be previously insured was known) and the goal for the system was achieved. The second-hand report of what the RAND study supposedly says is wrong or is using the study from when ACA had less than 2 million enrolees. Only Kentucky and New York have tracked how many are "new enrollees" who did not have health insurance and in both states it ran at 60-75%. It's more like 2/3 are previously uninsured rather than 1/3.

In any case, even the CBO was instructed to make their projections for the long term from the beginning. It's on pace with and beating projections. That's the key. Next year will only add on to it, but with a matured system.

Using your own logic, 40 million out of 316 million (12%) isn't exactly that many, either, yet Democrats felt an imperative to upend one of the largest industries in the country, economically (and in some cases physically) harming many millions of people in the process.
