In Crimea the Russians went in and held a sham referendum at gunpoint using busloads of Russians brought in across the border to rig the vote in their favor.
How about this: After 20 years of independence they haven't seen positive changes in their lives. It's like Obama. Now we know he won't change the world but don't know exactly what do. Here like there CORRUPTION IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. The main feature of democracy is NOT freedom, it's corruption.

Is Russia just as corrupt? Probably, or maybe more, but you know who to blame. Perhaps though the system remains functional and people are still able to go to a plaza and enjoy a stroll, like I saw the other day in a video from Eastern Ukraine.

The EU should bring QUALITY OF LIFE as well, so it's not like they embrace the American way of life with the homeless and the gated communities.

Russia might legalize the sale of RPGs and artillery to Mexico.

On the other hand, Scandinavia is best.

Everything that has happened throughout history is basically a precedent for Ukraine. For that matter, Crimea could be a precedent for Chechnya breaking away from Russia. It could be the precedent for Tibet to break away from China. It could be the precedent for Quebec to finally leave Canada. Who knows?

The opposition by world governments to secession, is their own domestic insecurity. No nation on this Earth is without a secessionist movement.

Crimea and Texas: Russia's Version of Manifest Destiny (Reforma, Mexico)

It should be noted that we don't know yet if Ukraine wants to be independent of Russia
And it's happened now in the USA --- Mexicans are flooding the USA, especially California and already planning Aztlan. More and more you see Mexican flags throughout the USA, hispanics demanding all services and education be provided them in their own country's language, even their welfare handouts.

Kind of silly for Obama encouraging this yet pretending outratge over Russians doing this in the Ukraine.

The list turned out to contain the names of 50,000 dead people, 330,377 seniors who can vote by mail without ID
The greatest way to manipulate politics is to use the greatest and clueless bloc of voters to their advantage: THE ELDERLY.

They get the lion's share of everything, including Medicare (socialized medicine) and freebies of all kinds. Free turkey, for example. Eventually there are not going to be enough workers to sustain that many retirees and some kind of revolution must take place.

The second amendment will be meaningless until the right to bear arms include RPGs.

This is a right Somalians get naturally.

I guess you dident see the results of the last Quebec election on April 7th ... needless to say the idea of Quebec separatism is more or less dead for at least a generation if not permanently. The two pro-federalist parties got almost 3/4 of the vote.

The Crimea referendum was tainted because the Russians brought in entire planes full of RUSSIAN nationalists to intimidate people and cast ballots pretending to be Ukrainians. It's so blatantly obvious what happened that even a blind person would be able to see it.
