The operation that became the Bay of Pigs invasion was authorized in March, 1960, by a Republican administration. The succeeding Democratic administration let it proceed, but did not "start" it.

The intervention in Libya was a mistake. You may recall that it was a mistake that was enthusiastically supported by John McCain, Marco Rubio (who suggested we were being too cautious), Daniel Pipes, William Kristol, and John Negroponte.

While more Republicans believe in creationism than Democrats or independents, the issue seems to be nonpartisan. Members of both political parties reported more creationists than people who believe in intelligent design or evolution.

Not if you combine the latter two, i.e. theistic believers in evolution and non-theistic believers in evolution. If you compare that to believers in creationism, it splits 58/36 creationist for Republicans, but 53/39 evolutionist for Independents and 51/41 evolutionist for Democrats.
