Based upon common sense inference, let's see here:

"Somebody who drank and drank too much" = drunk
"somebody whose lifestyle is questionable around children" = gay person

Inb4 "how do you know he means 'gay person'", you can infer this meaning based upon the rest of the quote in which the now-mayor states that he does not want to see his children be aware of people holding hands with somebody of the same gender.

So no, the quote was not changed. It was put into a condensed form so as to make a title.
Interesting....condensed???

That is not a change.

Sounds like a lawsuit in the making, the people of that elected that mayor should be demanding he be removed from office.

I'm sure this the situation in many cases.

A simple question. Do think EVERYONE who does NOT agree with you an idiot?

It is amazing how your type cry and whine for "tolerance" yet, have NONE.

It is HIS choice to make. It is his child. Yes, if one disagrees with the pink swastika lobby, one gets labelled "intolerant", "homophobic", "hateful". There is no choice with them. You either choose THEIR way or the highway.

Here's a handy tip: If you're going to accuse the other side of "intolerance," you might wish to avoid implicitly quoting Scott Lively, who refers to gays as "predators," "disordered," "poisonous," "deviant," and "evil," and who has a long history of anti-gay activism both in the U.S. and abroad.

I agree....

And in my younger days I loved to party in gay bars......they had the best music and most everyone liked to dance.
