No they are not similar, you saying that are does not make it so.

What about Mexico, Guns are just about banned, how is the crime rate in Mexico?

Chicago has some of the most restrictive laws in the nation and has one of the highest crime rates because of it, mean while every where else in the state has a violent crime rate at that or lower then that of Canada...

By the way where do you live?

Mexico is a poor, disorganized country, why don't you compare the US to other rich countries like Canada or Australia where gun control resulted in crime being way lower than in the us.

Chicago could have the most restrictive laws on the planet but being 10 minutes from Indiana meant that these laws were easily circumvented. Now Chicago doesn't have these strict gun laws anymore so let's see if it will improve. Lol

Canada has very strict gun laws across the nation and as a result it's murder rate is five times lower.

So you are telling me that poverty and corruption of those in power leads to more crime?

Funny isn't that what has happened to both Chicago and Mexico have in common, as well as a mostly disarmed law abiding population terrorized by criminals and ignored by those in power.

You cant compare those nations to us, they don't have a heritage and culture like ours and also do not have a Bill of Rights that restricts the rights and actions of the Government.

Hey why does Indiana have such crime as Chicago?

Other state will not pass such moronic laws just because the moronic in Chicago refuse to expect reality.

Chicago still does have many laws, its very hard to and take a lot of time and money to legally own and carry a firearm, but most of them will be taken apart in court in do time..

Look at the crime rate, not just the murder rate across the rest of state of Illinois, at or below that of Canada...

Summer is just now starting, this is only the beginning...

Where do you live?

Don't talk about black on black crime. Somewhere, someone...white...has privilege. We should focus on that. Slavery!

This is just a taste, Remember the summer is coming and as the temperature rises so will the body count.

Well its a good they have all of those gun control laws.

My predictions for this thread...

Alot of people post honest facts and observations.

Leftist will call us racists, and say we need to throw more money and more laws that restrict the Right To Keep And Bear Arms

Civil Rights, Segregation, ect ect ect!

I know, some how whitey is to blame...America is not buying it any more, not sure if they every did to begin with..

Raise you kids right, work hard, maybe move to another state where you can keep more of your money and defend yourselves, and never vote for people who would enslave you and keep you on a poverty plantation just to keep you voting for them..

Using the word "plantation" to describe how African Americans currently live and don't adhere to your wishes is about as racist as one can get.

I am just stating a fact, how is stating a fact racist?

I get it, you have not argument for this accusation, you just feel the need to use it when you are losing..

There's very little point in making cities gun-free zones. Not unless you're willing to surround them with barbed wire and border guards. Someone from the suburbs or another state can just drive into Chicago with a van full of stolen weapons, no?
Makes very little sense.
