I don't think Mexico will be (officially) invading the US anytime soon so we don't have to worry about Mexicans in America taking up arms against America.....but you see the problems that are created when groups like Muslims, Mexicans, etc come live in the US but give no effort to assimilating into our culture or having allegiance to our country.

I hope Ukraine crushes these ethnic Russians and sends them back to Russia. If they can't be loyal to Ukraine, then they shouldn't live there. We're now seeing the consequences of non-assimilation and split national loyalties living in the same country. Maidan was the indigineous people of Ukraine standing up to the Russian overlords who ruled their country even after the Soviet breakup. Now for the first time in history, Ukraine is ruled by Ukrainians and not the descendents of the Russian colonists.
More and more russian paramilitants/trouble makers are poured in from Russia. Ukraine has no proper border with fences, watchtowers etc. It's pretty easy to cross.
Notice now no one talks about return of Crimea now. EU has now announced they not interested in new Obama sanctions. How does Obama think anyone wants to rest on his assurances in the West Point speech?
Keep in mind that the EU appears to have (very) dependent on Russian natural resources, specifically on Russian fossil fuels.
As for Crimea, Ukraine's best bet in regards to this would be to acknowledge that Crimea is lost for now and to hope that after Putin is no longer in power, a genuinely free and fair referendum will take place in Crimea to determine its final status.
FYI, Russia has not moved in force into Ukraine. It looks less and less likely. Perhaps Obama should have come in guns blazing like the "Repub-Axis"(McCain, Graham, Ayotte) wanted, huh?

Not officially. But who were those masked men in Crimea? Later on Putin admitted: Of course it was our troops.
So Russia is threatening force if its "ukraine interests" are attacked. Now keep in mind that Russian intelligence agents have been caught, the "protesters" are heavily armed with soviet weapons, etc.
So looks to me like Russia wants to take another bite. Thoughts?
I think Russia is like a dog that has stolen the bone (crimea) and is now growling so they can keep the bone without actually getting into a big dog-fight.
Russia doesn't have the money or energy to take on what would be a brutal occupancy of the Ukraine and all of the assorted international backlash and of course the insurgents etc etc etc.
Well, at the end of the day the hands of the once powerful Russia are tied more or less. But they really do their best to stir things up. To a certain extent.
