What, that electing a black president would make racial tensions one of the highest in history?

These people are lunatics.

This seems totally unnecessary. Do we have Bill to all other things that are taught in schools? Obviously there is a significance and I would expect it to be part of future social studies courses or when talking about US History and Presidents, but a Bill seems over the top for a school topic!

That's cool, it got complete bipartisan support. And having a president that is a different skin color than all the other presidents is something worth addressing in school history.

I guess making it about his race isnt as uncomfortable as teaching about his failed policies.

Well they usually run out of time cause they have to first talk about all of Bush's failed policies and wars, and that tends to suck up a good portion of a year to study.

Yup, show us how white guilt has opened the door for one of America's most incompetent and ineffectual leaders in recent history...

"White guilt?" Maybe if the Republicans wouldn't have put up one of the worst Republicans as president, Obama would have had a harder time winning the election. I would have preferred 2 terms of McCain over 2 terms of Baby Bush.
