Have you bothered to read the thread title or the OP? Evidently not.
Absolutely. It's evident you haven't a clue what the difference between deficit and debt is.

What a childish response. I'm not pandering to your blatant attempt to rationalize your corrupted perspective through deflecting away from the topic if this thread (the deficit has gone down) to what you want everyone else to focus on instead, and I am the one who doesn't have a clue - about things I haven't even said Word One about in this thread? Are you really that afraid to admit that scurrilous nature of your deflection?

What was the deficit and fiscal operating debt in 2002, and what was it under Obama with the dems in control, and then tell me if there was any significant difference? I'll wait.

That is quite a deflection you got going. I find it very hard to believe they are taking in more money, then borrowing. http://www.treasurydirect.gov/news/p...pd08052004.htm Considering how many jobs have left to go overseas, and how much of the population is on food stamps. This is not a deflection, nor corrupted thought.

I suppose in the right-wing world where "up" is "down" and "black" is "white", my keeping to the topic of the thread could be considered a "deflection", but of course that just shows how corrupt the right-wing perspective has to be to keep it from collapsing in on its own perversion of logic.

So you'll rely on your bias-afflicted gut feel instead of relying on actual numbers. Thanks for making the ridiculous nature of the foundation of your comment clear.

Oh I see, I kinda figured you were a left-winger. Did you bother to check the link to find out the difference between deficit and debt? Oh wait, I forgot, lefties ignore facts when it proves them wrong. I am done with this topic here, you can continue to spin left wise.

You were "done" with this topic before you posted your first comment, having consistently refused to address the topic of this thread, instead insisting on trying to deflect attention away from facts you didn't like in a ridiculously partisan effort to brow-beat reality out of the thread. It'll be interesting to see whether you'll live up to your word here that you won't try to deflect away from the topic of this thread further.

344,000 new unemployment claims this week, and the economy has only grown by 1% Jan.-March. Looks pretty dismal to me.

Nearly 1/2 of that decrease is due to new tax revenue that came in.
