Secondly, our laws should not be interpreted with deference to the laws of any other nations, international law, or other religious law (Sharia). Period.

Do you honestly believe that if a child is not told "no" and is not taught right from wrong, that they will figure it out on their own?
Are you saying a child cannot be taught right from wrong without instilling the fear of a punitive god ready to punish them if they are bad? See, I was perfectly able to teach my kids to love one another and treat each other as they wanted to be treated, to not lie or steal or kill anyone, without threats and fear. I'm sorry that you are not able to do that as well.

I'm plenty educated on the topic both scholarly and personally, as my grandparents lived in Central Europe at the time and were persecuted (as Christians) and almost murdered under Hitler, dear.
You are wrong in implying he was any kind of actual Christian as an adult. If you removed your biased filter, you might see.
