How far back in history are we allowed to go?

If Republicans criticize a Democratic politician for corruption, can Dems bring up Albert Fall? How about James Blaine?

For example, most modern Democrats would be horrified by Dixiecrat platforms, and plenty of Republicans of today would scream "socialism" at Eisenhower's plans from the 1950s.

The southern Democrats, are much different than the northern Democrats today.
Woodrow Wilson, a Progressive Democrat, was the most racist President since the civil war.

We have not had anyone resembling Conservative leadership since Calvin Coolidge.

Because they actually are. The most racially segregated public schools are in blue states. Democrats are notorious racists. They always have been.

The most segregated schools may not be in the states you’d expect - The Washington Post

Robert Byrd, RIP | Power Line

Democrats today seem able to deny their past, but not to renounce it.
No it isnt, someone being a Democrat and the party itself creating something is not one in the same.

A majority of people in the South being Democrats means it is likely many of the original KKK members were as well, but that does not make it a creation of the Democratic Party as you so claim.

Further more, those people were conservative, not liberals or progressives. So not only are you arguing in a past tense , but in a different ideological one as well.

Also, renounce means " to support".

I havent seen a Democrat in modern times who supports the KKK, even Byrd didnt do that in the end.

Your article is based on number of black students who are exposed to white students.

That means it isnt a measure of racial segregation, but of black population ratio.

It says the least segregated schools are in West Virginia, but many of those schools are 99% white.

This flawed argument has been explained to you before and yet you keep posting that same link from your saved favorites bar like its a fact every time.

Exactly. In blue states, the Whites flee Black areas much more than they do in red states. Democrats are racists. Always have been; still are.

your article is saying a high school that is 99% white is not segregated.but one that is 51% black is.

I have had enough conversations with you to know that you will continue to play dumb in this situation and try to slither around my post, taking my words out of context (like in your last response ) and only copy and paste the parts that dont expose the flaws in your link, but thats ok.

Hopefully the smart people on this board will either read your link and call you out on it, or just completely ignore you.

I dont say that to be mean, im saying it because you are being purposefully obtuse.

Yes, because Democrats flee Black neighborhoods/areas while Republicans don't as much. That's the entire point of the article. In blue states, Whites flee Blacks. In red states, they don't as much. It confirms what many of us know: Democrats have always been racists, and still are.

no it isnt.

Your link actually defines "segregated" as a majority black school.

If a city has one high school, and its 51% black, it is considered segregated.

If a city has one high school and it is 51% white, then it is considered to not be segregated.

I know you hate Democrats, but there is no need to make up lies.

Blue states are more populated an in doing so , have more community based high schools.

Texas is at the top of the list of most segregated schools as well, they are far from blue.

Vermont is on the list of least segregated.
