I gave you cut and dry questions that point to situations that a woman of color experiences that a white woman doesn't.
Again, lets go back to names. Can a white woman have a name that a hiring manager does not like or that sounds like someone he wants to hire? Then it's not a privilege thing, or a racial thing, it's that some hiring managers are dumb enough to hire or not hire someone based on that person (wholy irrelevant) name.

I replied to your questions. I get that you don't like the answers, you can discount them as you wish. I'm not worried about it.

Other than telling white people who have no say in hiring anyone, ever, it's about white privilege?

Most businesses and business owners are white... are they not?

There are tons of beautiful ethnic names. But there are tons of stupid made up names too. If you want to give your child the best chance at success, don't give them a stupid made up name.
This isn't a black/white issue.
A man named "Bubba" sending out resumes wouldn't be received very well either.

When I was naming my children, I thought about how their names would effect them throughout their entire lives. Sally Mae might sound like a sweet little girlie name for a baby, but if they grow up to be a prosecutor, it will sound silly for her to announce herself as "Sally Mae Jones" in court.

(I never considered Sally Mae, I'm just giving an example.)

Like I said... If I write the name Mohammed at the top of my resume, it can be used to form a perception about me before I walk in the door. Mohammed is the #1 name in the world, but because it isn't a common name for a white male.. I am already at a societal disadvantage.

That is a prime example of the effects of white privilege.

Of course, since most people in this country are white.

Where does a young black girl have more chances for success? America or Nigeria?

Stupid is a point of view, based on the man in charge (who is usually white, unless it is a minority owned business).

What about that is so hard to understand?

WHITE PRIVILEGE!

A woman's chance of success in Nigeria is irrelevant to this conversation.

Just because some conspiracy website picked up the story, it doesn't mean it's not credible. It's foolishness to completely dismiss the information because the mainstream media told you to.
I did read that article, I skipped over the Blaze because it is the Blaze. He basically states that he has been told this several times, which leads me to believe this kid is full of himself and should spend more time with his parents and grandparents learning about integrity and how to not throw around his own privilege. This kid did not go through the same issues his parents and grandparents went through and it shows in his article, he still has a lot to learn in life.

Pshaw, that's not white privilege, it's fear of Islam. Bad example.

I have two sides to my family, one French and the other Black. The French side got the same thing because of their "funny" sounding names that no one could pronounce. So, the previous poster did have a point. People in this country are used to Tom, Jane, Sarah, etc as names. Anything name that is foreign looking at all (e.g. Russian, Spanish, French, etc) has a harder time. Yet plenty of those aforementioned people are white and still suffer the same problem.
