You know he sold his stake a couple of years ago right?
I know he didn't sell all of it. If NBA followed their own standard, they would give him a life long ban from everything related to NBA, and they would force him to sell his share of the team.
For some it may be but the NBA set a precedent here so it's fair to bring other cases up.
The biggest story not covered...or barely covered...is the Shaq issue. Like another poster reported: kids started copying Shaq's Instagram in which he made fun of a disabled man.
That just hits anyone with a heart really hard. Forget race for a second...Sterling, Jay-Z, Shaq, LJ, the Orlando owner...all of them are going to be just fine whether or not they get nailed on their so-called indiscretions. That disabled dude...damn...that's just cold. You gotta feel for him.
I think he started an antibullying campaign and is getting lots of support. It is very sad though, I believe he was a fan of Shaq's and that had to have hurt.
Guys like him are just wanna-b's and never really amount to much in society. A cheap hood in a cheap suit.
Are you joking? He is one of the most wealthy, successful, and popular artists not only in his genre, but of any genre. His suit is probably more expensive than your car. And he is married to Beyonce.
Guys like him are just wanna-b's and never really amount to much in society. A cheap hood in a cheap suit.
Unfortunately that's not true. He is very successfully, rich and influential to allot of people which makes the whole situation even worse..He thinks he is untouchable.
This is one of the major problems with this forum, retaliation threads.
It's totally a retaliation thread, but that's how the game is played right? You're certainly one of the main players in the race baiting game here on CD.
Now, if a white guy was wearing a Swastika chain at an NBA game & was affiliated with the KKK, wouldn't Silver be banning him for life as we speak?
I wasn't in favor of banning Sterling & I'm not in favor of banning Jay-Z, but if the racism police are going to be patrolling the NBA, the rules should be applied fairly.
Will the NBA use the same standard in this case as they did in Sterlings case? It is a simple question.
Jay-Z doesn't own shares with the Nets anymore, so why would they do the same standard as they did with Sterling?
