With several Republican lawmakers changing their views on the issue, virtually no Democrat left in the Senate that opposes gay marriage, and society as a whole swing towards a pro-LGBTQ sentiment, I thought it'd be interesting to see if the trend was noticeable on CD as well.
Is attitude towards gay marriage changing? Has your attitude towards it changed and why?
By always, I am talking about in your adult life. If you were a 10-year-old boy and grew up anti-gay in the 1970s, I wouldn't say you've necessarily changed if you've been pro-gay marriage since you started voting.
I bet some ethnic and racial minorities could be Democrats opposed to gay marriage. Take Persian immigrants for example..they could fall in this category...or Senegalese immigrants. In some nations in Africa and the Middle East, not only is there no recognized gay marriage, there's also still criminalization of acts of homosexuality.

I happen to be a Christian and if you think God blesses every union just because they are a man and a woman then you do not know much about God
I find it funny and ironic that you people say god is omnipresent and omnipotent, yet you all try to put your god in a box by claiming to know what it/he/she knows and wants.
what they do in their own bedroom is their own business as long as they dont come screaming at me that they are married and I should accept it.

MARRIAGE IS SUPPOSE TO BE A PROMISE
NOT a acceptance by others.
You only invite others to be a witness to the promise.
if you divorce then you broke a promise.
That's all. Basically it just means you don't keep your word.
so if gays want to make a promise to each other that is up to them.
why do others need to accept or deny it?
