No, this is about the GOP's selective outrage. They seem to go nuts whenever a Democrat is in the White House, and spend countless hours and days and weeks and years looking for "scandals" instead of doing anything productive. We saw it with Clinton and the Ken Starr witch hunt, and we are seeing the sequel here.
So the killing of an American Ambassador is just something that needs to be swept under the rug and forgotten. Nice politicians you elected. That man is just some refuse to be forgotten.
According to Obama, al-Qaeda was "history." Bin Laden is dead, and al-Qaeda is on the run, he said.
The fact of the matter is, the more they want to "sweep it under the rug," and claim, "it's history," the more I'm convinced that there are many things we still need to know, and things which the administration is doubtless deliberately hiding.
Let's talk about the transfer of arms from Benghazi to Syria. Let's talk about Obama's betrayal of our allies, and his his support of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, and his roll in the ouster and murder of Gaddafi.
Obama has been playing both ends against the middle in his foreign policy. It was Obama that instigated the so-called "Arab Spring" which resulted in the removal of Hosni Mubarak, who was a friend of the US, and kept the peace for 30 years.
We also want to know why Obama was absent on that night. Who issued orders to "stand down" and not send aid to our fellow Americans? Why was security denied them?
Why the cover up, blaming the attack on a video, when we knew within hours that was a lie, that the attack had been planned, and that we had also had prior warnings (which is why extra security had been requested).
Your parroting of the Democrats talking points would be laughable, if it were not so shameful.
Actually bin Laden is dead...I thought you knew this.
You guys keep playing with your fictional ideas about Benghazi, all it does is show us how terrified you guys are of Hillary Clinton running for president.

I would have rather had Hillary for President than the current idiot. At least she has a clue. All the current idiot worries about is his narcissism.
That's the in intriguing question asked by Aaron Goldstein in the American Spectator -
"Why is it that Democrats don’t want to talk about Benghazi?
Why do Democrats get angry and defensive when asked about the events of September 11, 2012 which resulted in the deaths of four Americans at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya?
Why do Democrats act like it happened during the Civil War?
Sure, it's the American Spectator, so you who want to thoughtlessly blame the messenger go right ahead. But if you Democrats are so confident in the president, why are you so desperate to change the subject, eh dudes?
Or maybe this is the Hillary cover-up? As Mona Charon points out, we're used to the president being a liar by now, but now another Democrat will be going into the presidential races with the liar tag followed by that "Who cares?" YouTube video.
"The Ben Rhodes memo revealing the duplicity of this administration on the subject of Benghazi reminds us about the character of those involved. That President Obama could lie so evenly and so passionately (remember the second presidential debate?) is perhaps not surprising at this stage. But let’s not forget what it took for Mrs. Clinton to lie to the grieving father of an American hero." Hillary
What will be fun to watch is if the Democrats try to boycott the select committee, as one Democrat is suggesting in a Sunday talkie trial balloon - "Schiff also said that Democratic leaders should not appoint anyone to the committee. "I don't think it makes sense, really, for Democrats to participate," he said. "I think it's just a tremendous red herring and a waste of taxpayer resources." (yeah, I know, a Democrat worried about taxpayer resources, that's a knee-slapper) Schiff: Benghazi select committee a ‘colossal waste of time’
That would be wonderful political theater, and a total dereliction of their vows to uphold and defend blah blah blah... but jeez it was so long ago.
And check all the WaPo comments...oddly enough, all the Democrat excuses right there. You folks are terrified of this thing, aren't you.
No one wants their skeletons to get out. Least of all, the Democrats. The party of inclusion became the party of seclusion when this burst out. They are all about transparency until they get in front of the light.....tsk tsk.....
This thing has teeth now and there's noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo going back. Susan Rice (lied), Hillary (lied), Panetta (lied), and yes, apparently, the President was "less than genuine" with his comments. Timelines don't lie and unless someone was using the payphone ahead of Hillary "ahem" then it's pretty clear they knew what they knew, when they knew it, and were damned if we were going to find out about it 2 months before an election.....worse than Watergate.
Wonder if anyone will have the temerity to ask Hillary why she lied to that Father of the dead Navy Seal when she said she was going to expend whatever is necessary to find who made the videotape....at the man's funeral.....shame on you Hillary.....shame on you. You really, really don't deserve to be a commander in chief when men die and you lie and twist to get away from accountability.
Whether there's a 'scandal' here or not, the GOP has gone about their 'investigation' about as stupidly as anyone could. Having Darryl Issa as the point man on this thing has been a huge mistake. They needed someone with gravitas to head this up...and they don't have it.
